Prathiksha Rehabilitation Center, under Jeevoday Education society, is training youngsters in different fields according to their interests, trying to make them earning and independent members of the family or society at large. It started in the year 1995 to provide vocational training to adult special youngsters, above the age of 18 years. Today the workshop incorporates 100 adults.


Prathiksha Rehabilitation Centre is a place where Intellectually Challenged adults to get training and enhance their various skills and talents to generate and produce various products.


The aim of the Prathiksha is to offer adults Intellectually Challenged an atmosphere to learn skills, explore, improve, and direct their talents into functional tasks and support a livelihood opportunity.


At the outset, the Rehabilitation Center concentrated on making greeting cards, embroidery work, and decorative household articles. However, as the number of individuals raised, the possibility of the center was expanded to include other skills.


Prathiksha Rehabilitation Center offers its service based on the following principles:

  • To provide opportunities and facilities where the capabilities and talents of Intellectually Challenged adults can be discovered and trained to make them productive and useful members of society.

  • To provide gainful occupation to Intellectually Challenged adults through supervision and care.
